Bhitarkanika
Why Bhitarkanika
Bhitarkanika is a mangrove forest where rivers meet the sea on the Odisha coast. Boats move through narrow creeks lined with mangrove roots, past saltwater crocodiles, birds and monitor lizards. It is a national park and a protected wetland. Nearby beaches are among the places where olive ridley turtles come ashore to nest. We picked it for a retreat on ecosystems: how every part of a system depends on the others, and what founders can learn about building an ecosystem around their own business.
For founders building platforms, partnerships, or products that depend on other players.
What you'll do there
- Boat rides through the mangrove creeks
- Spot saltwater crocodiles and birds with a local guide
