Two founders from Patna. We're building the retreat we couldn't find.
Collabuilder takes small groups of early-stage founders to places in Bihar and the Northeast that most people never go. Three days, 20–25 founders, no stage. We started in June 2026, and we run Founder Progress Circles in Patna while the first retreat comes together.

Why we started
Most days, it's just you and the work.
If you are building a company in Bihar or the Northeast, you do most of it alone. Sales in the morning, product at night, accounts on Sunday. The people around you mean well, but few of them have built anything, so there is no one to think out loud with.
Founder events exist, but mostly in Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai, and mostly pitches, panels and visiting cards. You come home with contacts, not with an answer.
We wanted three days with people who get it, in a quiet place close to home, with enough time to decide what to do next. Nobody was running that from Patna, so we started Collabuilder to run it.

How we run it
How we run a retreat
20–25 founders, no more
Small enough that everyone speaks in every session and every plan gets a proper hearing. Nobody sits at the back.
No stage, no pitching
There are no panels and no investor pitches. Founders talk to each other about what is actually going on.
No laptops in sessions
Evenings are free if you need to work. Sessions are for thinking, so they happen with a notebook.
You leave with it written down
Everyone writes a 90-day plan, reads it to a pod of three or four, and checks in with that pod every two weeks after.
Why these places
Why Bihar and the Northeast
We're from here. These places have forests, rivers, old universities and craft towns, and people building businesses in hard conditions, and almost nobody brings founders to see them. You get a quiet place to think, and you see how someone else built something with far less.
