On 19 July 2026, the second Founder Progress Circle took place at 53 Cafe House in Patliputra Colony, Patna. Like the first one, it was run by Udyam Tatva, our initiative for founders in Patna.
The first circle at B-Hub in June had more than 75 founders. This time, more than 150 took part, about twice as many in one month.
What changed from the first circle
With a bigger group, we moved from an office floor to a café, so the evening felt less like a meeting and more like a conversation. The format stayed the same: founders talking openly about what is stuck, what is working and what they need, and helping each other where they can.
We were glad to have Alok Ranjan, founder of Gaon, with us as a guest. Thank you, Alok, for giving your evening to Patna's founders and for backing the idea of a stronger startup community in Bihar.
What the numbers tell us
Going from 75 to 150 founders in a month says Patna has far more people building than most of us see day to day. Many of them work alone and rarely get to meet others at the same stage.
It also confirms what we noticed in June. A large room is good for finding your people. It is not the place to work through your own plan in detail. For that, you need fewer people and more time together, which is what our three-day retreats are built for: 20–25 founders, one quiet place and a written 90-day plan at the end.
What is next
We will keep running the circles in Patna, and the first retreat is planned for Valmiki Nagar in the last week of November 2026. If you came to either circle and want a seat, join the waitlist.
Come to the first retreat.
Valmiki Nagar, last week of November 2026. 20–25 founders. Join the waitlist and we'll tell you first.
