How the 90-day plan session works
Every founder leaves a Collabuilder retreat with a written 90-day plan that their pod has questioned. This is how the session runs.

The last morning of every Collabuilder retreat is spent on one thing: a written plan for your next 90 days. It is the part of the retreat you take home, so we want to explain how it works before anyone signs up.
Why 90 days
A year is too long to plan in detail at an early stage, and a week is too short to change direction. Ninety days is long enough to ship something real and short enough that you can still see the end from the start.
Step 1: write it on your own
You get quiet time and a one-page template with five questions:
- What is the one result that would make the next 90 days a success?
- What are the three things you will do to get there?
- What will you stop doing to make room for them?
- What is most likely to go wrong?
- How will you know, at day 30 and day 60, whether you are on track?
No laptops. Pen and paper make it harder to hide behind a slide.
Step 2: read it to your pod
Each founder is part of a pod of three or four people. You read your plan out loud, and the pod asks questions. The job of the pod is not to praise the plan. It is to find the weak spots: the goal that is really three goals, the step that depends on someone you have not spoken to yet, the thing you said you would stop but did not write down.
Then you change the plan. Most people rewrite at least one line.
Step 3: check in for 90 days
The pod does not end when the retreat does. Pods check in every two weeks for the full 90 days, a short call where each founder says what moved, what got stuck and what they need.
That is the real reason the group is small. With 20–25 founders, everyone speaks in every session, and every pod has the time to go through each plan properly.
