Kaimur–Rohtas plateau
Why Kaimur–Rohtas plateau
South-west Bihar rises into the Kaimur plateau: forest, rock, and waterfalls that run full after the rains. On top of it sits Rohtasgarh, a huge hill fort that changed hands many times, and below it in Sasaram is the tomb of Sher Shah Suri, who built an empire and a road network from a small estate. Most of this area sees very few visitors. Roads, stays and services are basic. That makes it the right place for a retreat on building from scratch: starting with little, in a place where nothing is set up for you.
For founders in the zero-to-one stage, working with small budgets and few people.
What you'll do there
- Climb up to Rohtasgarh fort on the plateau
